Proclinical is collaborating with a organisation to find a dedicated Data Manager. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining cloud-based data systems for clinical trial management. Your work will ensure the efficiency and compliance of clinical trials across multiple sites and facilitate the generation of high-quality outcome reports.
Responsibilities:
As a Data Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive clinical trial data management plan.
- Designing, annotating, and tracking case report forms (CRFs).
- Managing data abstraction, extraction, archiving, collection, entry, validation, queries, analysis, storage, privacy, transmission, workflows, and discrepancy management.
- Designing, building, and testing databases.
- Reconciling severe adverse events (SAEs).
- Tracking study metrics.
- Ensuring quality control and assurance.
- Documenting and verifying clinical and laboratory source data.
- Collaborating with scientists to develop data-related SOPs.
- Importing existing data from multiple sources into the newly developed database.
- Identifying and mitigating any issues or risks.
- Developing automated reports for progress tracking.
- Training and assisting researchers with data analysis.
- Supervising, managing, and training subordinates in line with company policies.
- Assisting in developing statistical reports in English.
- Ensuring proper storage of operating system validation documents.
- Demonstrating effective self-management and professional decorum.
Key Skills and Requirements:
The ideal candidate for the Data Manager position should have:
- A Master's degree in Information Management, Data Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
- Experience working in a LINUX/UNIX or related computerized systems.
- Strong programming skills in SQL and either Python, R, or STATA.
- A Certified Clinical Data Manager (CCDM) credential or its equivalent is preferred.
- Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Experience in data management or data science.
- Ability to develop and manage relational databases, run queries, automate, clean and organize large amounts of data.
- Experience in automating and generating pipelines.
- Understanding of AI-based clinical data management is desirable.
- A PhD in information management, data science, bioinformatics, or similar is a plus.
- Experience in a clinical trial setting is highly advantageous.
- Eagerness to learn and grow professionally.
