Cell Manufacturing Technician - Contract - Philadelphia, PA
Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Cell Manufacturing Technician to join a dynamic team.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be required to focus on executing cell therapy manufacturing processes, maintaining quality standards, and supporting operational functions. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Skills & Requirements:
- Post-secondary education, preferably a Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in biopharmaceutical-based GMP manufacturing operations, including experience in cell culture and associated downstream processing
- Technical knowledge of aseptic processing in cleanroom environments.
- Familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11, GxP best practices, and FDA regulations.
- Proficiency in English for Good Documentation Practices and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to perform arithmetic calculations accurately and reproducibly, including fractions, decimals, percentages, and basic algebraic and geometric calculations.
The Cell Manufacturing Technician's responsibilities will be:
- Execute GMP cell therapy manufacturing processes.
- Perform mammalian cell culture under aseptic conditions.
- Complete and maintain training documentation.
- Comply with quality standards and requirements.
- Support operational functions including materials stocking, kit preparation, reagent preparation, room readiness, cleaning activities, and equipment maintenance.
- Review documents, including executed Batch Records and Logbooks.
- Adhere to GMP, SOPs, and GDP, ensuring data recording meets regulatory requirements.
- Attend daily huddle meetings and escalate issues/concerns to Area Management.
- Work on routine assignments per written procedures, recognizing deviations from accepted practices.
Compensation:
- $28 to $31 per hour
