Biobanking Lab Technician - Contract - Camden, NJ

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual for the role of Biobanking Lab Technician.

Primary Responsibilities:

This role involves managing and maintaining laboratory systems, assisting with order fulfillment and participating in equipment maintenance schedules. A valid driver's license is required for participation in on-call rotations for equipment monitoring.

Skills & Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent relevant experience
• Knowledge of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) is an advantage.
• Valid driver's license
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team environment

The Biobanking Lab Technician's responsibilities will be:

• Become proficient in using Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and Biobanking Logistics Inventory Tracking System (BLITS)
• Complete online certifications for the Department of Transportation and Biohazardous Waste
• Assist with internal and external order fulfillment, requests, or shipments
• Prepare kit components
• Assist in filling liquid nitrogen tanks
• Assist in the storage and retrieval of biospecimens from tanks and freezers
• Deliver daily work orders to the Production & Research Laboratories
• Participate and assist with equipment preventative maintenance schedules
• Participate in on-call rotations for equipment monitoring
• Maintain a well-organized work environment
• Assist with the tactical operations of all areas of the Biobanking Logistics
