Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Associate Director for Access & Reimbursement. The successful candidate will serve as the lead in business-to-business conversations with account executives, managing the implementation of access and reimbursement strategies within their assigned accounts. This role requires a deep understanding of local payer policy coverage, multi-channel acquisition pathways, billing, coding, claims processing, and the integration of manufacturer support programs into various account workflows.

Responsibilities:
- Engage with large, complex accounts to support patient access to aligned therapeutic area product(s).
- Provide proactive education on programs to providers and staff.
- Analyze problems and offer solutions related to patient reimbursement.
- Support the implementation of local coverage decisions.
- Develop appropriate Plan of Action (POA) for access situations within the assigned geography.
- Establish preferred acquisition pathways and educate stakeholders on related logistics.
- Analyze reimbursement issues & opportunities, anticipating changes in the healthcare landscape.
- Engage with non-prescribers, such as pharmacy, system leadership, financial counsellors, office administrators, revenue cycle managers, etc.

Key Skills and Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceuticals / biotech industry, with at least 2 years in a Patient Services practice support role for a specialty product(s).
- Experience working with complex practices and/or health systems to establish access and acquisition pathways.
- Deep expertise in integrating manufacturer-sponsored patient support programs.
- Knowledge of reimbursement pathways (specialty pharmacy, buy-and-bill, retail).
- Strong understanding of Commercial payers, Medicare plans and state Medicaid in the geographic region.
- Ability to travel and cover geography, at least 50% travel required, based on geography and territory / targeting make up.
- Experience leading and delivering presentations to C-level account executives is desirable.
- Strong capabilities in customer focus, collaboration, business acumen, communication, and presentation skills.
