Aseptic Cell Manufacturing Technician - Contract - Philadelphia PA

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual for the role of Aseptic Cell Manufacturing Specialist.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for executing GMP cell therapy manufacturing processes, maintaining quality standards and providing operational support. Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary education.
  • Knowledge of biopharmaceutical-based GMP manufacturing operations, including experience in cell culture and associated downstream processing.
  • Technical knowledge of aseptic processing in cleanroom environments.
  • Familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11, standard GxP best practices, and FDA regulations.
  • Proficiency in English, especially for Good Documentation Practices, and Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to perform arithmetic calculations including fractions, decimals, percentages, and basic algebraic and geometric calculations.

The Aseptic Cell Manufacturing Technician's responsibilities will be:

  • Execute GMP cell therapy manufacturing process.
  • Complete training sessions and maintain training documentation.
  • Comply with quality standards and requirements.
  • Provide operational support functions including materials stocking and transfer, kit preparation, reagent preparation, room readiness, cleaning activities, and equipment maintenance.
  • Perform document review, including executed Batch Records and Logbooks.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Attend daily huddle meetings and escalate issues/concerns to Area Management for further investigation.
  • Work both independently and as part of a team, recognizing deviations from accepted practice.

Compensation:

  • $28 - $31.75 per hour
