The challenge

The company faced the new challenge of launching into an increasingly crowded European marketplace and remodeling its market perception. To achieve this, it was key for them to have talented people who were adaptable and able to communicate a new global vision for the organisation. They also required a quick turnaround as the international rollout was planned for HY1 that year.

The solution

To meet the broad geography and specific senior commercial leadership requirements of the search, we utilised our country level expertise and deep sector knowledge. After an initial shortlist of 5 candidates presented to our partner, we managed the interview process, scheduling meetings across various American, European and Chinese time-zones. Once a candidate was selected, we also helped with salary benchmarking and onboarding.

The outcome

• Following the successful hire of the European GM, we continued to support our partner with the sales and technical rollout. Candidates were identified across multiple countries and the company were able to meet their launch deadlines
• In a short space of time, the organisation was able to rapidly increase its European market share and become well-established in the market
• We continue to support them in both the service and sequencer sections of their business
