Scope of work
We supported our partner on a 40+ hires project, spanning across all our key areas of expertise, including pharmacovigilance.
The challenge
The pharmacovigilance team had openings due to rapid growth and needed support in key areas. We were tasked with finding case -processors, a lead PV specialist and a systems specialist. In the PV operations side they specifically needed specialists with end-to-end experience in case processing as well as comfortability in a study start-up environment.
The candidate pool for the contract PV systems specialist role was narrow, with suitable candidates spread across the entirety of the country, and our partner required someone to work 4 days on site out of their MA office. We were also given a very broad brief by our partner– as they required someone with tangible experience upgrading and implementing the newest company systems specifically.
The solution
We appointed an account manager to be on site with the them once a week to ensure visibility with key stakeholders and the smooth running of the project. Our specialist team of PV consultants identified multiple case processors and a lead specialist very quickly, utilising our extensive pre-established network. Having an account manager onsite meant that we could lock in interviews with the hiring manager immediately, with a move to offer stage within a week of the initial interviews.
The outcome
We utilised our existing network, connected with professionals at conferences and through LinkedIn Recruiter to develop a vast pool of suitable talent. From this our partner was able to build a strong team of experts. This was done against extremely tight timeframes and relied upon excellent communication between our team and our partner.
As an added bonus, we were able to identify a systems specialist who had previously spent time at the company itself implementing these systems on a daily basis. Again, this process was expedited due to the streamlined communication between our team and our partner.
We continue to support our partner across a multitude of areas, with the PV team working closely with the VP of safety to hire his right hand in a senior medical safety director to sure up risk management requirements.
